In addition to outstanding technical features, Intel released a promotion as performance:

PS: such as video processing to be done on an Apple?

His days are numbered Internet Explorer 6, is on the verge of dismissal. Launched in 2001, centuries passed like speed Internet, Microsoft was surprised that a large number of users in China, India (and Romania - only half joking!) Still use version 6 of IE. Current technologies are not 100% compatible with IE6, Internet speeds are very high, compared with 10 years ago and downgrade would be dangerous, not recommended.

So, with the politeness of a giant, Microsoft recommends update of Internet Explorer 6, the special site ie6countdown.com for versions 8 and 9.

In parallel, we recommend and remind you that it's better to use both Mozilla Firefox , and Google Chrome . Browsers new, modern, safe and fast.

Current wireless networks are in constant expansion, exponential, I'd say. With cheaper equipment and aparitiaunor wireless high-speed protocols, a test is required antes wireless and wireless routers.

I wrote this post to find answers to dilemmas wireless Internet network users: which router is best and which antenna is better? Expensive equipment worth the money, is new on the market? I have a new laptop, the wireless i choose?

We had the following equipment and start date:

- Subscription RDS (TV + Internet + phone package)
- 300 Mbps wireless router Serioux SWR N300A2
- 54 Mbps Wireless Router TEW-452BRP
- USB wireless antenna Serioux N150UD-USB
- USB wireless antenna MSI US54G/MS-6861
- Wirelss antenna PCI (internal) D-Link DWL-G520 to 108 Mbps

OS is Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, with updates to date, installed on a Intel Pentium 4 (2.40 GHz), 4 GB DDRAM 800, Seagate ST31000520AS 1TB SATA2 HDD. Windows Experience Index is 3.1.

Google Chrome browser is used, only test window open. We used the test http://speedtest.net/ with me, in Galati and Braila server (distance <50 miles).

Test computer and router are in the same room.

The results are below:

Concuziile are answers to questions posed:

1) November wireless equipment worth the money?

  • technologies for high speed (300 Mbps) are even faster, have greater scope and worth the money difference

2) I have an old laptop and I want to buy (or have already) and a new laptop. What equipment do I choose?

3) What to choose between a USB wireless antenna and internal antenna on the PCI slot for the CPU?

  • an internal antenna, mounted on a PCI slot, is better. The only problem is you have more work for installation (dismantling housing etc.)

4) To choose a cheap router or an expensive one, for the same characteristics of speed and security?

  • comparisons that are constantly in IT is "a computer is like a car: Dacia Logan there, there Bentley and Mercedes there." Each chooses after claims by budget: for a home router, Parental control and other settings without profiling, is better and cheaper router .

Good luck shopping and to navigate!

What is the best antivirus for Windows?
Thursday, December 02nd, 2010 | Author: Viorel Olteanu

What is the best antivirus for Windows? The question arose early in the war against viruses. The answer is clearly a relative. Each user believes the best antivirus antivirus the one you use. But reality can be different, especially when your antivirus is installed by "skilled friends."

To choose, in Mo knew the cause, best antivirus, consider the following criteria:

  • Antivirus free or paid. The choice is up to each user. Personally, I prefer paid antivirus. For that, compared with antimalware, antivirus does its job properly paid. Obviously, it offers better antivirus protection more expensive. Antivirus products that cost around 10 euros (40 USD) throw money for nothing. Target solutions around 40 euros (160-200 million) which will provide adequate protection. To convince the antivirus test efficacy of 30-50 days throughout the product and then buy it from a distributor. Initial price of around 40 euro is valid for one year. At exprirarea period of use (1 year), will have to pay license extension program, which usually will be cheaper.
  • Detection rate. Antivirus programs use their own methods of detection, some better than others. See rankings forums detection rates to choose a really good antivirus protection PC.
  • Heuristic method. Occur daily as viruses and other PC heuristic detection method should provide "learning from past experiences" and to detect early abnormal behavior due to the virus before the antivirus manufacturer to create an update.
  • Scanning speed. A good antivirus is not only a high detection rate but a high scanning speed. Imagine what the scan time to 2 TB of data!
  • Real-time scanning. It is able to monitor your antivirus software on your computer and prevent virus infection?
  • Scanning order. This feature should allow scanning a folder / file in right click menu's properly. The most common is the case in order to scan a USB stick.
  • Access scanning. Each file is scanned to open / access.
  • Use of system resources. There are antivirus that loads the system, greatly decreasing its speed. Search antivirus not loaded system. Do not count as your resource. Slow down any antivirus resource greedy top configuration.
  • Scanning planned. An antivirus product quality can be set to scan the system at a certain date (day of week) and at a certain time. However, there are programs that restrict virus scan types that can be planned.
  • Scan email. Ins and outs of email, along with traffic and should be monitored for virus attachments. A quality program monitors both Yahoo mail, Gmail, Hotmail, and Instant Messengerele (Mess Yahoo, Windows Live Mess, Google Talk).
  • Update automatically. Keep up to date antivirus automatic updates from online threats. Automate updates saves you the trouble of having the latest virus definitions. Most products can be configured to connect to antivirus vendor's Web site. Antivirus program should have the possibility to disable automatic update and the update manually. That also reduce network traffic or waiting time (available for mobile internet).
  • Block scripts. Antivirus must be able to monitor Java, ActiveX, VB and other scripts, detecting and blocking abnormal activity.
  • Easy to use. Antivirus program should work easily. Installation should be simple, easy to follow steps without too many options to confuse the average user. But, also, must take into account the demands of advanced users. Once configured and started running, the antivirus must work quietly and stays in the backgroud, without disturbing the user with messages paranoid.

Tips:

1) DO NOT USE Antivirus "Sparta" (crack-look)! Protection is void, even if they do break antivirus updates and scans one paid. I had NOD32 devirusat many broken computers but were compromised by too much. Than one antivirus cracked, better one free.

2) DO NOT USE THE VIRUS WITH INSTANT WEBSITE ADVERTISING! There are sites that advertise the antivirus and displays messages like "Your computer is infected! Click here to disinfect. " Obviously, the posts do not only infect your PC with a virus, given that virus. There is a list of antivirus true. Do not install programs ghost. As titles are fake antivirus "Dr. Antivirus "," AV Protection "false name behind which to hide true infections.

3) TEST TRIA L version first. If you are unsure of an antivirus product, test it during the trial (Trial Version).

4) SAVE THE DAY updates for antivirus, antimalware and Windows. The condition required to ensure adequate protection is to stay up to date with antivirus, antimalware and Windows.

Below is a list of antivirus own good, you deserve to trust:

AvastAntivirus
AVG
Avira
BitDefender
Eset NOD32
Kaspersky
Panda Antivirus
McAfee
Microsoft Security Essentials
Sunbelt VIPRE
Symantec
Webroot

It will be useful and without incident!

What is the best anti-malware for Windows? Here is a perfectly valid question, especially since many do not use Windows Defender and others are not happy with Windows Defender.
